Picus Odden & Associates, in partnership with Augenblick, Palaich and Associates, Inc. and Activate Research are working with the Wyoming Legislative Service Office and the Wyoming Legislature’s Select Committee on Recalibration.  Our team brings together decades of experience in conducing school finance adequacy studies and have led four previous recalibration efforts since 2005.  Using the Evidence Based Model of school finance adequacy, our model reviews research on programs that are successful in helping all students succeed in meeting state performance standards.  In Wyoming we have used this approach to estimate the cost of providing the Educational Basket of Goods and Services.

We need your help to both participate in the PJPs, and to identify other panelists to participate in the Panels.  We will hold a total of eight PJP panels between May 21 and June 13, four of them on-line and four in person.  Our goal is to identify between 15 and 20 participants for each panel representing a range of school officials and other education stakeholders (central office leaders, school site leaders, teachers, school board members, and others).  All PJPs will last four hours. 

 On-line panels will be held on:

 ·       May 21 at 9:00 AM

·       May 22 at 3:00 PM

·       June 2 at 3:00 PM

·       June 4 at 9:00 AM.

 In person panels will take place on:

·       May 28 at 9:00 AM in Cody

·       May 29 at 9:00 AM in Gilette

·       June 10 at 9:00 AM in Rock Springs

·       June 11 at 9:00 AM in Cheyenne
