Evaluation of Mission: Admission Challenge

Prepared for the Mission: Admission Challenge Team at the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California in 2020

Mission: Admission Challenge was developed and implemented by the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California (USC team) and funded by a First in the World (FITW) grant from the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The Mission: Admission Challenge, as stated in the FITW grant proposal, “implements a month-long game-based program in 50 California high schools, trains teachers and counselors to support the novel approach, and measures the effects of program completion on changes in college-going efficacy, college knowledge, FAFSA completion, and college enrollment.”

APA partnered with the Mission: Admission Challenge team to serve as the external project evaluator by conducting both an impact evaluation and an implementation evaluation.
